About the Department
The Department of Computer Information Systems and Management was established in 1995. The department offers three levels of higher education:
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years of study);
- Master’s degree (2 years of study);
- Postgraduate degree (3 years of study).
The department offers graduate programs in the following majors:
- 710100 “Informatics and Computer Engineering” (full-time),
- 710200 “Information Systems and Technology” (full-time and part-time).
Graduates of the department receive in-depth professional training in:
- computer science and computer technology;
- programming and development of computer information systems;
- configuring computer networks and creating office systems;
- administrating local area networks;
- developing artificial intelligence computer systems;
- creating information security systems;
The Department of Computer Information Systems and Management trains highly qualified specialists in the field of new information systems and technologies. The training is designed to ensure that graduates are in demand in the labor market not only in Kyrgyzstan but also abroad.
