Admission to the PhD program at the ARPC “International University of Kyrgyzstan”
is carried out in accordance with the “Regulations on the procedure for organizing Postgraduate Professional Education (basic Doctoral program/Specialized program) and awarding the qualification of Doctor of Philosophy/Doctor of Specialized Program in the following majors:
- 530100 Philosophy
- 530200 Political Science
- 530500 Jurisprudence
- 530800 International Relations
- 531000 Philology
- 550400 Social and Economic Education (Pedagogy)
- 561000 Public Health and Medicine
- 580100 Economics
- 580200 Management
- 710100 Computer and Information Technology
To be admitted, applicants must have a Higher Professional Education, confirmed by a Master’s or Specialist’s degree (5-year study).
Admission to the basic PhD/Specialist program and the organization of entrance examinations for the Doctoral Program is conducted annually from August 20 to October 10 on a competitive basis.
Entrance examinations for the Doctoral program are held from October 10 to 20.
Entrance examinations for current programs established for graduates of the Master’s/Specialist program are conducted:
- in a foreign language;
- in the discipline of the study program.
Admission to PhD programs is based on the results of the entrance examinations for the program.

List of documents required for admission
- Application;
- A notarized copy of a Higher Education diploma with a Master’s degree, or in a Specialty or Specialist program;
- A passport (copies of an ID card) and a military ID (for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic) must be presented in person upon application;
- An online application form (from the university);
- A copy of the Work Record Book, certified by the HR department;
- A Personal Record Sheet confirming employment (for individuals with work experience);
- Four color photographs measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm;
- A medical certificate (Form 086-U);
- A brief justification for the preliminary dissertation topic (if any);
- A written consent from the supervisor for supervisory supervision (in free form);
- A list of research and methodological works (if any).
