Postgraduate Studies
The Postgraduate Program of the ARPC “International University of Kyrgyzstan” is one of the university’s scientific divisions for training highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel.
Admission to the Postgraduate Program is carried out in 6 majors:
- 05.13.01 Systems Analysis, Management, and Information Processing (by industry);
- 10.02.20. Comparative-Historical, Typological, and Contrastive Linguistics;
- 23.00.04. Political Problems of International Relations, Global and Regional Development;
- 22.00.04. Social Structure, Social Institutions, and Processes;
- 12.00.01. Theory and History of Law and State; History of Doctrines of Law and State;
- 12.00.08. Criminal Law and Criminology; Penal Law.
- 14.03.11 Rehabilitation Medicine, Sports Medicine, Exercise Therapy, Balneology, and Physiotherapy;
- 14.01.30 Gerontology and Geriatrics;
- 03.03.03 Immunology (Biological Sciences).
The postgraduate program is full-time and lasts 3 years.
To be admitted, applicants must have a Higher Professional Education, confirmed by a Master’s or Specialist’s degree (5-year program).
Admission to the Postgraduate Program and entrance examinations are conducted annually from August 20 to November 10 on a competitive basis.
Entrance examinations for doctoral studies are held from November 10 to 20.
Entrance examinations for current programs established for graduates of Master’s/Specialist degrees are conducted:
- in a foreign language;
- in the discipline of the study program.
Admission to Doctoral studies is based on the results of the entrance examinations for the study program.
List of documents required for admission
- Application;
- A notarized copy of a Higher Education diploma with a Master’s degree, or in a specialty or specialist program;
- A passport (copies of an ID card), and a military ID (for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic) must be presented in person upon application;
- An online application form (from the university);
- A copy of the Work Record Book, certified by the HR department;
- A Personal Record Sheet confirming employment (for individuals with work experience);
- Four color photographs measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm;
- A medical certificate (Form 086-U);
- A brief justification for the preliminary dissertation topic (if any);
- A written consent from the supervisor for the supervisor’s academic supervision (in free form);
- A list of research and methodological works (if any).
