On January 21, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference on “Cybersecurity: Organizational and Legal Processes, International and National Standards, Problems, Threats, Challenges, and Their Impact on the National Security of Central Asian Countries” was held in the conference hall of the Park Hotel. It was organized by the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Law Institute of the Zh. Balasagyn KNU, together with the Association of Lawyers of Kyrgyzstan and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Central Asia (Germany).
Over 60 people participated in the event. Major General, Doctor of Law, Professor B.M. Alymbekov and Doctor of Law S.B. Karabalaeva represented the Department of Law and International Law.
During the conference, Memoranda of Mutual Cooperation were signed between:
• KNU J. Balasagyn, the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the branch of Moscow State University in the Republic of Tajikistan.
• The Academic Consortium “International University of Kyrgyzstan” and the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• The branch of Moscow State University in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the event, all participants were awarded certificates.
